Search Engine Optimization - PlayNation.com
Objective
PlayNation Play Systems is a leading manufacturer of wooden swing sets. They had a bad experience with several search engine optimization firms and wanted to achieve top listings for their most coveted keyword "swing sets".
They also wanted their other divisions (SwingWorks.com PlanItPlay.com PlanetPlaygrounds.com and GorillaPlaysets.com) to rank high in the search engines as well. They had a website called PlaygroundMall.com that a search engine optimization firm had started and had limited results with it. I also turned that website around in the process.
Results
Within 3 months of working with PlayNation I was able to take them from a non existent search engine presence to the first page of Google, Yahoo and MSN for the keyword "swing sets". Within 1 year they were #1 on all major search engines and have stayed that way ever since.
Traffic has more than doubled and catalog requests have went through the roof.
If you go to any search engine and type in any of the following keywords (swing sets, swingsets, swing set, swingset, swing set accessories, swing set accessory)you will see many of PlayNation's websites in the top 10.
Alot of people talk a good game when it comes to search engine optimization and have no proof to back up their statements... here's my proof to back it up.
